Rules and Regulations

  • Only eligible organizations may apply, through duly authorized representatives
  • There is no Entry Fee
  • Shortlisted organizations will be invited to present to a select panel of experts (Jury) - refer schedule
  • Based on Jury evaluation, the award winners shall be selected
  • All awardees will be publicly recognized though an awards function (date to be notified), and will be profiled on the BCIC website, Social Media, Press release
  • Acceptance or rejection of applications is at the sole discretion of BCIC
  • The information and declarations provided in the application form or in presentations/representations to the jury, if found to be incomplete, false or misleading will result in disqualification of the applicant
  • All applicants agree that the decision of the Jury and/or BCIC is final, and cannot be challenged in any forum, court, tribunal or the like
  • Applicants are required to mention their sectors in the application.
  • Jury will have the liberty to apply a contestant to the best-fit category.
  • Each category will have a set of generic and specific set of evaluation parameters.
  • There will be 2 rounds of judging. 1st will be a screening round by judges to shortlist a set of finalists. The 2nd round will be a live presentation by the participants to the jury.
  • Jury will be comprised of individuals from a varied set of backgrounds.
  • Key focus of evaluation will be to assess impact, quality of Innovation, use of Tech, employment generation, financial prudence, quality control, team and sustainability. Will focus on emulating the evaluation in lines of funding pitch day.
  • Applicants will be required to furnish evidences (e.g. Financial Statements) against claims in their applications.
