BCIC Start Up Awards

The Inaugural BCIC Start Up Awards have been instituted to celebrate the aspiring mindset of entrepreneurs who have donned a new role in forming an enterprise. The determination and hard work of these entrepreneurs may possibly define a positive outcome in their respective fields.

Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) would like to salute the thoughts and empowered ideas of the entrepreneurs and also seek the high growth abilities in solving the problems of the future and in involving the animal spirits in not letting the corporations to be maintaining a status quo but to challenge the way of life. BCIC vide the inaugural Start Up Award aims to be different by being a mentor, incubator and / or take the firm to the market.

Qualifying conditions:

An entity working towards innovation, development, deployment, and commercialisation of new products, processes, or services driven by technology or intellectual property or any other

Incorporation Year:

Firms / Companies incorporated on or after April 1^st' 2012 and before 31^st March' 2016

Existence:

Minimum 3 years and maximum 7 years as on financial year ended 31^st March' 2019

Origin:

Founders of Indian origin, with HQ and Principal office in Karnataka with product development centre largely in India

Status:

Current working status of the company should be active with 15 or more employees.

Company Stage:

The start-up must have at least a prototype or MVP (Idea stage start-ups not considered)

Sole proprietorship, Registered Firms / Partnerships, LLP's, Companies, social enterprises shall only be considered
Capital employed - less than Rs.25.crs (including bank funding)
